Face my fears or Sally Neill !!!!!
Hi & welcome back,
It’s been a while, I don’t know where to start
I must appologise, since my last post I’ve let life get in the way, which I must admit was really easy (I’ve moved home twice and country once) but that’s no excuse cos I’m not making excuses.
I suffered from total analysis paralysis, information overload whatever you want to call it and it was just so easy to let my fears take over.
Oh boy there was always a solid reason why I couldn’t focus on the blog, always something else more important, I’m sure you know what it’s like – you must of been there at one time or another. Maybe you’re there now! Who knows.
Fortunately things have changed for me I’m now facing my fears and learning new things at an incredible rate, all because I am now aligned with a mentor and a fantastic community that I can relate to, I feel so lucky to be part of this wonderful group.
Anyway, to my fears!
Sally Neill held her first live webinar training event last Thursday well the Thursday before oooops I should have posted before now !!! ( Sorry Sally) and I was fortunate enough to be able to attend. It was a great webinar, Sally has so much knowledge and she delivers it in a no nonsense way that you can’t help but learn, she just keeps giving and giving and I’m loving it.
One of my biggest fears has always been speaking live and/or being recorded, to the point where I don’t even leave messages on answer machines. (proper wuss)
The problem being my accent, I sound like a cross between Rob Benwell & John Thornhill (the female version of course). LOL
Sally did a fantastic job with the webinar and as it came to a close it was the usual any question, raise your hand, I didn’t miss a beat up it went. God knows what I was thinking. I was just going to congratulate Sally and say hi well done. Well did I? OH No what did I do? I bobbled on like an idiot and didn’t even think about the fact it was being taped until afterwards. ( OMG totally traumatised and that was just Sally ) LOL.
The thing is I listened to the replay and you know what it wasn’t that bad. It sound absolutely nothing like me and I’ve done it now – How good is that? yahoo.
That leads me onto my next fear creating videos- Barry Wells has created a challenge on his blog and although I didn’t have a clue with his help and encouragement I have created my first video uploaded it to youtube and facebook and added it here.
Although it’s not Camtasia and may not be the best it’s mine and I’m really proud of it.
From now on I will be posting regular updates with all the new things I’m learning as the weeks go on and as soon as I’ve mastered Camtasia, video could be a regular thing.
Hope you Enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed making it – if you do leave a comment and let me know
Talk soon

Horray… well done Michelle.
Face your fears or Sally Neill, ha ha she’ll chuckle at that one.
I think many of us have suffered from info overload, i know I have. It’s sometimes a case of coming away from it and chilling until your head clears.
Fairplay to you for coming back Michelle, the flame might have flickered but it never went out
You were ok on the webinar Michelle, I think we all get the gitters when we’re live but we have to get over these fears. Did you hear me when i said the wife? Sheesh what a mug
So this was your first video Michelle, congratulations. It was really really good and very well put together. I haven’t made any like this yet and would be interested in how you made it. If you want to do another one showing us, that is…… nudge nudge
Great work Michelle, please make more videos and thank you very much for stepping up to my challenge and grabbing it by the horns, it’s very much appreciated.
Be very proud of yourself Michelle
Take care,
Barry

Hi Barry,
It’s so nice to be back, I’m hear for the long haul this time and it’s wonderful to have some familiar faces around
(yourself, Sally & Jacinta amongst others) to make me feel so welcome so thank you for that.
I’m so glad you enjoyed the video I had great fun making it. I must admit I was just a bit worried no-one would like it at first but I enjoyed watching it so much I thought what the hell.
I am really looking forward to seeing the others though so now I’ve sorted the little problem, I’m gonna hop over to your Blog and check them out.
Thanks for always making me smile

Hi Stuart,
Thanks for stopping by and I’m glad you enjoyed the video
It’s strange but I seemed to step into my comfort zone rather than out of it – It was so much fun.
Fortunately for me Barry didn’t allow time enough to procrastinate otherwise I may not of got around to it quite so quickly – So big thanks Barry!
I’ll be over to your blog ASAP – I love prints vintage of otherwise so any tips that will help me to add to my limited but growing collection at the right price are always welcome.

Hi Michelle,
Well done and congratulations. I loved the movie and I bet it was fun to create. You did great.
So next we can expect you to be teaching us something that you are learning from Miss Sally. And girl, I expect that is going to be quite a lot too.
So glad you got in Barry’s challenge and I’m glad he’s helping everyone face their fears and just go for it. Now that you’ve gotten this one out of the way, the next one will be a breeze. Plus a whole lot of fun too.
Congratulations!

Hey Michelle,
Lovely to see that you are afraid of me ha ha ha, kidding!
Sounds like your life has been a little hectic lately, they do say moving house is very stressful and you done it twice PLUS moved country too, omg poor you.
But it looks like you have it all under control and your back in the game, so I look forward to reading more of your blog posts and following your journey online.
You sounded just fine and dandy on the webinar so you have no worries at all, anyway most people hate their voice, I always think I sound like a man ha ha.
Catch ya on the call tonite, and congrats on getting your first video under your belt.
Catch ya later

Hi Sally,
I love you really LOL!
Life has been hetic for a while but it’s all settled down and I now have more time to concentrate on the things that I enjoy doing.
I’m loving the course, the content is fab I’m learning so much and so quickly I just need more time to implement everything
but I’m not going to stress I’ll just keep ploding on cos I know as long as I remain consistent it will all come together, yahoo!
I love the calls and always have the urge to shout a big hello to everyone at the start even though no one can hear me,
I think my husband thinks I’ve lost the plot and started talking to myself. LOL

Hi Michelle,
I can certainly relate to you moving house having just recently done so myself, luckily for me it went ok, but I know it can be a nightmare. But to do it twice and move countries as well … phew I bet your nerves where strained!
I have to say joining Sally’s Coaching Program without doubt is one of the best decisions I have made, I am enjoying every minute of it, and have learnt a great deal.
Not only does Sally help you face your fears, but she gives you the confidence to do so!
I loved this video Michelle you have to tell us how you did it
I really liked the music track. Well done on your first video … you’re now a videographer!
Thanks for sharing your experience’s Michelle …
Take care, catch up soon

Hi Ian,
Thank you and congratulations to you also, you dark horse. Well done!
I hope you’re settled into your new home nicely. For us it was a bit of a nightmare at times, like when the furniture van was on it’s way from France but we still had nowhere to live in the UK. (Scary!) but on the whole, everything has gone remarkably well considering.
I too am loving Sally and her methods (size 3′s) I’m actually enjoying facing my fears and I’m learning loads it’s great

Hi Michelle,
I know what you mean about making excuses, putting it off, finding something more important to do. I do it every week with my housework. Now, I know there’s many many things way more important than doing the dusting, but it is something that needs to be done, the dust does not go away, in fact it breeds! Point being, *quit the excuses, *focus on one task at a time, and *do it, then onto the next and it’s amazing how much you accomplish.
Nice that you came to the point of ‘no more excuses’ and returned to your blog.
Congratulations on your video, it great, I’m with Barry, I too would really like to know how you put that presentation together.
Well done Michelle
Take Care

Be proud, Michelle, be very proud. A great first video. My first one was much like this and I realised how fantastic it makes you feel seeing your own production on the screen, and I just watched it over and over. Next step is to talk on your video, and I suspect that will be coming very soon now you have confidentaly produced your first on screen film!
Enjoy the journey.
